Are Wyler watches still made? ›

2021. In 2021, to mark the 125th anniversary of founder Paul Wyler's birth, the Jumbostar Automatic Chronograph, a reissue of the iconic 1968 watch, is produced in a limited edition of 125 pieces. In the same year, the new company Wyler Vetta S.r.l. is established, headed by Marcello Binda.

Watch company founded by Paul Wyler in 1896. It was known for its rugged and shockproof movements and models. Paul Wyler gained seven patents for his innovations. In 1927 he invented the "Incaflex balance spring", which was resistant to impact, and in 1932 received a patent.

In 1906, Innocente Binda opened a small watch shop in Besozzo, on lake Maggiore. By the time the Wyler Watch Company was launched, by brothers Paul and Alfred Wyler, Innocente Binda was already tightening his relationship with Swiss suppliers and beginning to expand his business selling parts and movements in Italy.
