A company messaged me for a pharmacist job in PA for 48/hr I politely declined. I’ve seen ads on indeed looking for pharmacists but offering 25-35 an hour. No shade to any company, but any company that offers a pharmacist 20-48 an hour that is honestly an insult. Most pharmacists are doctors and they spend over 6-8 years of schooling to achieve a doctorate degree and go through a vigorous curriculum to get a doctor of pharmacy degree ( PharmD). The average PharmD will probably graduate with at least on average 150k in debt now a days it’s more. I’m honestly tired and disgusted by how some of these companies continue to degrade pharmacists #pharmacists #pharmacistjobs #betterpay

After 24 years of experience 3 yrs postdoc training and 3 board certifications I won't consider less than 60/hr. Living in WA standard is closer to 70/hr for remote work, higher for inpatient. That's a bargain for my qualifications. These companies are preying on those jumping out of horrible working conditions. Absolutely disgusting. I'm professional and upfront when they offer less than 60. As a former full-time academic for the first portion of my career I really felt as though we needed to teach our students how to understand and negotiate their worth in the market. Sadly, seems as though it's still not taught from the hiring behaviors I've seen.

I’m a new grad and constantly reminding myself not to take anything less than $70. The sad part is I have meet season pharmacist currently working $55 per hour. I had to educate them on their worth and to always negotiate their pay.

What a great way to kick off pharmacist month starting October, pharmacists walking out . I’m so happy the pharmacists at CVS in Kansas are walking out. I hope more pharmacists continue to walk out and expose the toxic and unsafe working environment at CVS. CVS is always disgustingly understaffed , C.V.S. = can’t value staff . Pharmacist and pharmacy techs deserve better. Period. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 #pharmacist #pharmacytechs

As health care providers/professionals we must find the time to take care of ourselves. We dedicate our lives to help others health but we neglect to take care of ourselves sometimes. Being a healthcare provider/professional is not an easy job, but it can be rewarding. Remember your patients are important but your well-being is important first and foremost. We have to take care of our health that goes for other careers outside of healthcare we must take care of ourselves first. Whether it’s physical health, emotional health, mental health find time to take care of yourself. I’m happy I’m finally taking care of myself because when I’m healthy I feel good when I’m helping patients with their health. 67 lbs weight loss feeling good . No is perfect so love yourself first no matter what we’re humans. But there is only one of you if push came to shove your employer would just replace you if ended up sick , unstable or God forbid dead. #healthcare #mentalhealth #healthcareprofessionals #pharmacist #healthiswealth #loveyourselffirst #fitness #stressless
