- Affiliate Rights and Obligations
We may reject your application and/or suspend, terminate, or ban you from participating in the Program if we determine, or have reasonable grounds to believe, that you or your website are unsuitable for our Program. This includes, but is not limited to, instances where you or your website:
Violates Affiliate Marketing Guideline;
Promotes sexually explicit materials;
Promotes violence;
Promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
Promotes illegal activities;
Incorporates any materials which infringe or assist others to infringe on any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights or to violate the law;
Uses such words in the names of domains and as keywords: term "VeePN" or any other trademarked terms associated with VeePN; variations or misspellings of the VeePN brand name, including but not limited to "VeePN," "VePN," "Vee PN," etc; domain names, including but not limited to "veepn.com".
Promotes in any way unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable to us in our sole discretion;
Contains software downloads that potentially enable diversions of commission from other affiliates in our program or use techniques that intercept traffic, conduct fake installations from virtual machines, use Aggressive Advertising Materials;
Uses contextual ads;
Uses Google Display Network, or other search engine provider without prior written consent;
You may not create or design your website or any other website that you operate, explicitly or implied in a manner which resembles our website nor design your website in a manner which leads customers to believe you are VeePN or any other affiliated business.
As a member of the Program, you will have access to the Account Manager. Through this platform, you can review details about our Program, access previously published affiliate newsletters, download affiliate links to VeePN web pages, and obtain banner creatives. You will also be able to browse and retrieve tracking codes for our coupons and deals. To ensure accurate tracking of all visits from your site to ours, you must use the affiliate links provided for each banner, text link, or other links we supply.
With mutual agreement, the Affiliate may create Advertising Materials for VeePN’s campaigns (product). All Advertising Materials must receive prior written approval from VeePN via email, which VeePN may withhold at its sole discretion. If the Affiliate fails to comply with this requirement, VeePN reserves the right to withhold payment for any actions resulting from unapproved creatives. Additionally, the Affiliate agrees to indemnify and hold VeePN harmless from any issues arising out of or related to the breach of this obligation.
VeePN reserves the right to review your placement of links at any time and approve or require changes to their use. You may be asked to modify or cancel the placement of your links as deemed necessary by VeePN. You must obtain VeePN’s approval for all publishers involved in VeePN’s marketing campaigns (product). You are required to provide VeePN with detailed information, including but not limited to your experience working with these publishers, the types of ads they plan to use, and any other criteria requested by VeePN.
You are responsible for regularly reviewing your publishers and their marketing activities to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Additionally, you are accountable for ensuring that your publishers adhere to the Agreement and properly conduct their marketing activities.
You must promptly notify VeePN when you pause or resume traffic. Failure to inform VeePN of such pauses or renewals will result in VeePN having the right to impose a maximum daily cap of 50 installs per day. Any installs exceeding this cap will not be eligible for payment unless otherwise agreed upon with your affiliate manager.
You must comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines regarding testimonials and endorsem*nts. All endorsem*nts, reviews, and testimonials related to VeePN's products and services, as well as any relationships between your content websites (such as forums, blogs, microblogs, and other social media channels) and VeePN, must be clearly disclosed in a written statement on your websites.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You must obtain express permission to use any copyrighted material belonging to others, including writings, images, or any other copyrightable works. We will not be liable for any violations of the law or third-party rights resulting from your use of another person’s copyrighted material or intellectual property; you will be solely responsible for such violations.
WE PROHIBIT YOU TO USE AND YOU AGREE NOT TO USE:
Pop ads (pop-under and pop-up advertisem*nts or any other variations);
Brand-bidding - the use of brand name keywords such as term "VeePN" or any other trademarked terms associated with VeePN; variations or misspellings of the VeePN brand name, including but not limited to "VeePN," "VePN," "Vee PN," etc; domain names, including but not limited to "veepn.com" as keywords in your bidding campaigns for promo VeePN offer page and/or creatives. At the same time general words (such as “security”, “optimization”, “data control”, “software”, “utility”, “application”, “antivirus”, “PC”, “VPN”, “virus”, “malware”, “clean”) is allowed, but only for referring the users to partner’s comparison website, not an affiliate landing page with a single product.;
Affiliates are not permitted to bid on brand keywords ("VeePN") and misspellings. Any variations like "download VeePN", “VeePN coupon”, “buy VeePN” "install VeePN", "VeePN review" are also not allowed to bid on;
Incentives (any incentive practices and other form of promised kick-backs like offering cash for clicking, rebates, etc.);
Aggressive, scary and misleading creatives;
Malvertising (injecting malicious ads or links into legitimate ad materials, hidden iframes, drive-by downloads);
Unauthorized creatives (copies, visuals, or links for your custom ads should be approved by our team before use);
Pre-landers, fake browser alerts, scam;
Contextual ads;
Google Display Network (any promotional activity on the GDN platform), or other search engine provider without prior written consent;
Spamming (mass email or newsgroup posting, unsolicited commercial email etc.);
Fraud (cybersquatting or typosquatting, self-referrals, fraudulent transactions etc.);
Search traffic;
Adult traffic;
Tab under;
"Parked domain“ traffic;
Bundling;
Forced redirects, doorway pages;
The intellectual property of a third-party (any copyright, trademark etc. without that third party's written permission).
All creatives made by your own (banners, pictures for push notifications, etc.) should follow our compliance guidelines and should be always approved by our team before launching and while running ad campaigns.
